Who are we and what makes us American? In a time of social and political unrest, future generations have a unique opportunity to redefine what it means to be American in this time and place in history. Using the stage as their mouthpiece and their experiences as research, students will create a new piece of performance art that shows us what they think America is – in hopes that it will help us understand what it could be.
